Warm, livable luxury for a young family, adding warmth to a contemporary new build
One of our many repeat clients over the years (since 2016), the primary spaces to highlight within our larger scope include the main Living Area, the Powder Bath, and a grand bath for a (then) newborn. The home itself was a contemporary new build, nestled into the hills of the Mount Washington neighborhood of Los Angeles.
This inky powder room remodel was inspired by the surrounding landscape. We replaced the builder-grade finishes in the modern new build with style-forward choices befitting this guest-frequented space. The room itself was large and had two windows running the full span of a wall so we felt comfortable going for a dark moody green to create more intimacy. We chose the stone-inspired Strata Study Wallpaper by Apparatus and Zak+Fox to echo the hill into which the house is nestled.
